Gomes has endured a difficult first season at Barcelona since signing from Valencia in the summer. But despite his erratic displays, manager Luis Enrique continues to persist with him. His selection is said to be causing frictions in the dressing room with Messi particularly annoyed. And Spanish outlet DiarioGol claim the Argentina international has demanded Gomes be dropped with immediate effect. Messi and fellow forwards Neymar and Luis Suarez are said to be appalled at Enrique's faith in Gomes. They believe their failure to hit top form is down to the 23-year-old lacklustre displays in the middle of the park. The midfielder's inclusion has come at a price with Ivan Rakitic forced to settle for a place on the bench. And Rakitic is now being Linked with a move to Real Madrid having grown tired of life out in the cold.

Chelsea officially signs Germany and Roma defender Antonio Rudiger

Chelsea finally made Antonio Rudiger's move to the club official Sunday as the former AS Roma defender signed a five-year contract with the Blues. The club announced the news via its official website. In a statement, Rudiger expressed his joy at joining the Premier League champions: "It's a great feeling because not every player has the opportunity to join a huge club like this. "I am looking forward to meeting up with my new team-mates, and I'm very proud to officially become a Chelsea player." Douglas Costa joins Juventus from Bayern Munich

Juventus have announced the signing of Douglas Costa from Bayern Munich on loan with the option of making it a permanent deal. The 26 years old winger was announced as a juventus player through the club's official twitter account. Douglas Costa who joined Bayern Munich in 2015 from Ukraine side Shakhtar Donetsk made 77 appearance and scored 14 goals in his 2 years at the bundesliga side. Juventus are to pay £5 million for the loan deal and £35 million if they are to make him their permanent player.
