Angry Messi tells Barca to Drop Andre Gomes

Gomes has endured a difficult first season at Barcelona since signing from Valencia in the summer.

But despite his erratic displays, manager Luis Enrique continues to persist with him.

His selection is said to be causing frictions in the dressing room with Messi particularly annoyed.

And Spanish outlet DiarioGol claim the Argentina international has demanded Gomes be dropped with immediate effect.

Messi and fellow forwards Neymar and Luis Suarez are said to be appalled at Enrique's faith in Gomes.

They believe their failure to hit top form is down to the 23-year-old lacklustre displays in the middle of the park.
The midfielder's inclusion has come at a price with Ivan Rakitic forced to settle for a place on the bench.

And Rakitic is now being Linked with a move to Real Madrid having grown tired of life out in the cold.

Tammy Abraham is delighted following his maiden call-up to the English senior national team for the international friendlies against Brazil and Germany. The 20-year-old who is on loan at Swansea from English Premier League champions Chelsea had been torn between representing England or Nigeria, even though he has represented the former at the youth levels. Bayern Munich humiliates Arsenal 5-1 at Emirates

Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski eliminated all Arsenal hope when he won and converted a penalty kick in a 5-1 win in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 match-up at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday. Arsenal had gone ahead 1-0 through Theo Walcott , but still trailed 5-2 on aggregate, when  Laurent Koscielny tripped up Lewandowski in the box. Koscielny was shown red. The final score was 10-2 on aggregate, and the 5-1 home loss was the worst home blowout in Arsenal’s European history. A couple of chances went by the wayside before Arsenal went in front through Walcott. Bayern keeper Manuel Neuer was prepared for a low shot, and Walcott ripped a high attempt that Neuer could only parry into the goal. Dani Carvajal returns to Real Madrid training after heart infection

Dani Carvajal  returned to training on Monday morning at Real Madrid's Valdebabas facility. One month after he was diagnosed with a heart infection , the 25-year-old took to the turf along with fitness coach Javi Mayo.  On 25 October,  Zinedine Zidane delivered the positive news that Carvajal has recovered from the virus that ruled him out since late September, and that he had returned to light training. "Things are going well with Dani. It's all positive. Today he started on the bike and it takes time.  I am happy because he is healthy, but there is a recovery process  and he started a little yesterday. Today a bit more and we will see how it evolves," said the French coach. The medical staff at Real Madrid  will not rush Carvajal back to serious physical exertion , as there is a risk that the infection could return. As a result, his work-load will increase incrementally until he is ready to re-join the squad.

Tottenham are poised to join the hunt for Real Socidedad winger Mikel Oyarzabal , according to a report. Italian news outlet  Calcio Mercato  claims that Serie A giants Juventus and Inter Milan are also keeping track of Oyarzabal, 20, whose stock has risen “significantly” in the past year.
