Angry Messi tells Barca to Drop Andre Gomes

Gomes has endured a difficult first season at Barcelona since signing from Valencia in the summer.

But despite his erratic displays, manager Luis Enrique continues to persist with him.

His selection is said to be causing frictions in the dressing room with Messi particularly annoyed.

And Spanish outlet DiarioGol claim the Argentina international has demanded Gomes be dropped with immediate effect.

Messi and fellow forwards Neymar and Luis Suarez are said to be appalled at Enrique's faith in Gomes.

They believe their failure to hit top form is down to the 23-year-old lacklustre displays in the middle of the park.
The midfielder's inclusion has come at a price with Ivan Rakitic forced to settle for a place on the bench.

And Rakitic is now being Linked with a move to Real Madrid having grown tired of life out in the cold.

Chelsea to bid €80 million for Morata

Chelsea are reportedly set to turn to Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata with an offer in the region of €80 million (£70.9 million) after missing out on Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United. According to Javier Silles of AS, Chelsea are now Morata's best chance of getting a move this summer after he appeared to be close to joining United prior to their capture of Lukaku. While a move to Old Trafford "has not yet been ruled out," sources have reported the Blues will make an offer "close to €80 million, including all variables, to Real Madrid in the next few days."

Lille OSC coach Marcelo Bielsa has decided to make a u-turn and recall Nigerian goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama back to the first team. The former Super Eagles skipper has been handed a lifeline by Bielsa following his return from a six month injury lay-off. Enyeama and 11 others were deemed surplus to requirements by Bielsa upon his appointment as coach of the French giants last summer, paving the way for them to leave the club. Gareth Bale has been linked to Manchester United almost every summer since he joined Real Madrid, but reports in the British press claim that this time he really is going to move to Old Trafford. Real Madrid are closing in on the signature of striker Vinicius Jr and the 16-year-old even took a medical examination for the club on Monday. The tests were planned by Vinicius' current side Flamengo, although the results were also sent on to Los Blancos as per their request.
