Real Madrid to listen to offers for Gareth Bale

Gareth Bale has been linked to Manchester United almost every summer since he joined Real Madrid, but reports in the British press claim that this time he really is going to move to Old Trafford.


Despite the injuries which have seen him miss 40 of the past 60 Real Madrid games, Jose Mourinho's club are reportedly willing to take a chance on the Welshman.


This is according to the Daily Mirror, who claim that Real Madrid are willing to listen to offers for the 28-year-old, while hoping to recoup the 99 million euros spent on him.

Real Madrid's signing of Theo Hernandez moved a step closer on Monday as the left-back completed an extensive and exhaustive medical, one which he passed without problem. Currently on loan with Deportivo Alaves, the Atletico Madrid defender is determined to join Los Blancos despite Los Colchoneros' preference to sell him to Barcelona. Now, having come through his medical at Madrid's La Moraleja Sanitas Clinic, the 19-year-old is set to move to the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu when Real Madrid deposit his release clause of 24 million euros with the Spanish league and put an end to the long-standing non-aggression pact between the capital city clubs. Real Madrid came from behind to secure a 3-1 away win against Napoli as the European Champions are through to the quarter finals with a 6-2 aggregate score. Knowing that they need to put pressure if they are going to have any chance of going through, Napoli took the initiative in the early stages of the match and were close after seven minutes.
