MADRID: Cristiano Ronaldo surpassed legendary English striker Jimmy Greaves on Saturday to become the all-time leading scorer in Europe's top leagues with 367 goals. Ronaldo's goal against Valencia was his 280th in La Liga, with the Portugal star also netting three times for Sporting Lisbon before scoring 84 Premier League goals in six highly successful years at Manchester United. Real's all-time record goalscorer is now just four off 400 in all competitions for the Spanish giants.

Ronaldinho showed he still has his magical feet with his 3 assist in a match between Barcelona legends and Real Madrid legends. The match took place in Beirut and featured the likes of Gianluca Zambrotta, Francesco Coco, Eric Abidal and Edgar Davids for Barcelona.  Real Madrid were represented by Roberto Carlos, Fernando Morientes, Christian Karembeu and Savio, among others. Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice as Real Madrid came from behind to beat 10-man Bayern Munich 2-1 in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final at the Allianz Arena. Bayern, who had thrashed English club Arsenal 10-2 on aggregate to take their place in the last eight, went in front after 26 minutes through a bullet header from Arturo Vidal. The Chile midfielder, though, wasted a chance to double the German club’s advantage in first-half stoppage time when he blasted a penalty over the crossbar after what looked a poor handball decision against Dani Carvajal. Real were level two minutes into the second half when Ronaldo swept in a cross from Carvajal. Bayern had to play the final 30 minutes a man down after Javi Martinez picked up two quick cautions. And Ronaldo took his tally to 100 European goals when he stabbed the ball past Manuel Neuer in the 77th minute to leave Carlo Ancelotti’s men with it all to do in next week’s second leg back at the Bernabeu.
