UCL Draw: Bayern takes on Madrid, as At.Madrid face Leicester City

Record German champions Bayern München will take on Real Madrid in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, while Borussia Dortmund will battle AS Monaco for a place in the final four. The pairings were confirmed during the UCL draw at UEFA headquarters in Nyon at Friday lunchtime. FC Bayern will first host Toni Kroos & Co. in Munich on 11th or 12th April, before travelling to the Spanish capital on 18th or 19th April. BVB will also play at home first, with the second leg set to be held in Monaco. Bayern reached the quarter-finals courtesy of two big wins over Arsenal, while a much-improved second-leg performance saw Thomas Tuchel’s Dortmund side past Benfica. Had Bayer progressed, the Bundesliga would have held that honour. Al Ahly of Egypt were unable to build on a great start and had to settle for a 1-1 first-leg draw with Wydad Casablanca of Morocco Saturday in the CAF Champions League final. Moamen Zakaria scored after just three minutes for the record eight-time African champions at the Borg El Arab Stadium in Mediterranean city Alexandria. But leading Wydad scorer Achraf Bencharki levelled on 16 minutes and dominant Ahly were unable to regain the lead before a crowd restricted to 50,000 for safety reasons.  Wydad host the return match next Saturday and are favoured to pocket the record $2.5 million (2.1 million euros) first prize given their home form in Africa this season. Cavani reveals Neymar will take PSG next penalty

Edinson Cavani has revealed that Paris Saint-Germain manager Unai Emery has decided his side's next penalty will be taken by Neymar. The Uruguayan and the world's most expensive player were embroiled in an embarrassing public fall-out during the club's 2-0 win over Lyon in September. Neymar was seen remonstrating with Cavani as they both stood over the spot arguing over who should take the penalty, having earlier squabbled over the taking of a set-piece. Emery and the PSG hierarchy have done all they can to prevent a similar situation arising again with Cavani reportedly being offered €1million to pass on penalty duties to his Brazilian team-mate. After Cavani rejected the financial offer, Emery has been forced to step in and hand the reigns over to Neymar himself. 'The coach has decided that Neymar will take the next penalty,' Cavani said, as reported by FourFourTwo.
