At the Emirates stadium Arsenal came back from a goal down to beat Swansea City 2-1.

Sam Clucas gave the visiting club the lead in the 22nd minute of the match before Sead Kolasinac and Aaron Ramsey scored in the 51 and 58 minutes respectively.

Gomes has endured a difficult first season at Barcelona since signing from Valencia in the summer. But despite his erratic displays, manager Luis Enrique continues to persist with him. His selection is said to be causing frictions in the dressing room with Messi particularly annoyed. And Spanish outlet DiarioGol claim the Argentina international has demanded Gomes be dropped with immediate effect. Messi and fellow forwards Neymar and Luis Suarez are said to be appalled at Enrique's faith in Gomes. They believe their failure to hit top form is down to the 23-year-old lacklustre displays in the middle of the park. The midfielder's inclusion has come at a price with Ivan Rakitic forced to settle for a place on the bench. And Rakitic is now being Linked with a move to Real Madrid having grown tired of life out in the cold.

Chelsea officially signs Germany and Roma defender Antonio Rudiger

Chelsea finally made Antonio Rudiger's move to the club official Sunday as the former AS Roma defender signed a five-year contract with the Blues. The club announced the news via its official website. In a statement, Rudiger expressed his joy at joining the Premier League champions: "It's a great feeling because not every player has the opportunity to join a huge club like this. "I am looking forward to meeting up with my new team-mates, and I'm very proud to officially become a Chelsea player." Tottenham are poised to join the hunt for Real Socidedad winger Mikel Oyarzabal , according to a report. Italian news outlet  Calcio Mercato  claims that Serie A giants Juventus and Inter Milan are also keeping track of Oyarzabal, 20, whose stock has risen “significantly” in the past year.
