Real Madrid and Granada clashed in the week 36 of LaLiga. Zidane decided to rest his star players for the Madrid Derby and featured his "B" team.

The match took place in Beirut and featured the likes of Gianluca Zambrotta, Francesco Coco, Eric Abidal and Edgar Davids for Barcelona.  Real Madrid were represented by Roberto Carlos, Fernando Morientes, Christian Karembeu and Savio, among others. Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is investigating whether there is a growing problem between manager Antonio Conte and the players. The Russian billionaire is increasing his involvement in the day-to-day running of the club following the resignation of technical director Michael Emenalo on Monday. Chelsea came through their Premier League encounter with Bournemouth 1-0 on Saturday to avoid slipping further behind in the title race.
