See what Unzue said to Neymar

There has been a tense atmosphere in the Barcelona dressing room over the last few days, after a training ground bust up between Juan Carlos Unzue and Neymar in which the assistant coach compared the Brazilian's attitude to that of his contemporary, Ronaldinho.

The incident apparently occurred after Unzue reproached the player for the way in which he was applying himself in training. "If you continue this way, you'll end up just like Ronaldinho," he said to Neymar, a comment that was clearly not to the liking of a player who can count the former Barcelona No.10 amongst his close friends.

Incredibly angry for the rest of the session, the comment, which was probably meant to try and motivate Neymar, looked to have had the opposite effect.

The episode further complicates the possibility that Unzue will inherit the squad from Luis Enrique at the end of the season, because Neymar is not the only one who has had a falling out with the Navarrese. Lucho's assistant is considered to have been behind many of the tactical innovations that have been implemented this year, but some haven't met with universal team approval.

Some players have even dropped hints within the dressing room walls that if Unzue is to become the new first-team coach next season, they will find a way out of the club.

Good news: Gareth Bale back to Real Madrid training

Gareth Bale was back in Real Madrid training on Friday  as Los Blancos continued their preparations for their weekend LaLiga clash at home to Las Palmas Bale, who has been named in Wales squad for the November friendlies against France and Panama,  now appears to have recovered from a calf injury and could return against the Canary Islanders . The winger has not played for Real since their Champions League win away to Borussia Dortmund in late September . click here for more news

Gambo Mohammed joins Nigerian league champions Plateau United from Kano Pillars

Nigeria Professional Football League champions Plateau United have signed forward Gambo Mohammed on a two-year deal from Kano Pillars. Gambo, who is Kano Pillars all-time leading scorer, was rumoured to be on his way to Rivers United but has now joined the Jos club. The move ended his over a decade romance with Kano Pillars where he was a cult hero among the supporters. The 29-year old joined Kano Pillars from amateur outfit Buffalo FC in 2006 and won three NPFL titles with the club. He is the latest arrival at Plateau United following the acquisition of King Osanga, Charles Henlong, Amos Gyang and Tosin Omoyele. Other new arrivals are Henry Ochuba, Okiemute Odah, Rapheal Anyagwa, Afolabi Wahab and Peter Suswan. Mali looks like U23 side and not U17 says Iran U17 coach

Head Coach of the Iranian u17 side has accused Mali if age cheating at the ongoing U17 world cup in India. Iran were last Tuesday trashed 5-1 by Mali during the round of 16 match between both sides. Hadji Drame, Lassana N’Diaye, Fode Konate and Seme Camara were on the score sheet in the match dominated by Mali. "They sometimes look like they are an U-23 team and not in the same category as us (U-17),” said Al-Rubaye in the aftermath of the match.  “It’s quite visible in the way they play, the way they shoot and their abilities, like speed and physicality. “It's unfair sometimes because there is a big difference between African teams and others.” Yet Mali coach Jonas Komla shrugged off any insinuations that his side may be fielding overage players. Real Madrid  were put to the sword by Simone Zaza as Valencia ruined Cristiano Ronaldo’s 700th club football appearance winning 2-1 at Mestalla.
