VINICIUS SET FOR REAL MADRID MEDICAL

Real Madrid are closing in on the signature of striker Vinicius Jr and the 16-year-old even took a medical examination for the club on Monday.

The tests were planned by Vinicius' current side Flamengo, although the results were also sent on to Los Blancos as per their request.

Globoesporte say that the player went to Samaritano Hospital in Barra da Tijuca, near Rio de Janeiro, for the medical, with the LaLiga giants reported by MARCA to be now on the verge of completing a deal.

The 29-year old joined Kano Pillars from amateur outfit Buffalo FC in 2006 and won three NPFL titles with the club. He is the latest arrival at Plateau United following the acquisition of King Osanga, Charles Henlong, Amos Gyang and Tosin Omoyele. Other new arrivals are Henry Ochuba, Okiemute Odah, Rapheal Anyagwa, Afolabi Wahab and Peter Suswan. Dutch FA to speak to Vitesse about racist chanting

The Dutch football association KNVB is to look into reports that Vitesse fans made monkey noises directed at Ajax keeper Andre Onana during their match last weekend. The investigation followed a video on YouTube in which the sounds can be heard clearly behind the Ajax goal, where hardened Vitesse fans were sitting. The part of the video with the noise has now been removed but the KNVB has the original recording, website Nu.nl said. ‘Racism has no place in the stadium and must be tackled,’ the KNVB said on Twitter on Tuesday. ‘The KNVB has approached Vitesse to take steps.’ Nu.nl said the KNVB will decide on the basis of the clubs and the referees reports whether to start a formal investigation. Chelsea and Monaco reach agreement for Bakayoko deal

Bakayoko will undergo  medicals at Chelsea on Friday according to report. It is believed that Chelsea and Monaco have agreed a fee for the 22 year old defensive midfield who has been heavily linked to Chelsea. Get French Football News(gffn) wrote on their twitter account "Breaking | Chelsea & Monaco have finally completed a deal for Tiemoué Bakayoko for €45m. A medical will occur on Friday, according to RMC". If the deal is completed, Conte will be happy to beat Man Utd for his signature after Man Utd beat him to Lukaku's.

Video Assistant Referee(VAR) to be used in Spain

According to Marca, The Spanish FA have been given the green light to begin using VAR - Video Assistant Referee - and the technology could make its debut in the second leg of Atletico Madrid and Elche's Copa del Rey tie at the end of November. VAR is already in use in some European leagues, but there has been a mixed reaction to it, particularly in Germany   and Italy. As such, any initial use of it in Spain will be for testing and it will not be rolled out across the country straight away. Juventus signed Morata from Madrid in 2014 but the Spanish champions exercised a clause to re-sign him in 2016.  However, after just one year back at Madrid, Morata joined Chelsea in the summer.  "There were contractual agreements to respect," the striker told  La Gazzetta dello Sport of his return to Spain.  "The disappointment was huge: I went right back to the start. They treated me like the kid I was before the two seasons in Italy. "I arrived [in Italy] feeling like a boy and I returned feeling like a true player.
