Premier league to ban divers next season

By

A three-man panel of experts will meet each Monday to sift through the serial cheats in the Premire League

This added new rule will be effective from next season. This rule was made after many people complained of cheats and dives from players last season especially in April.

Any player found guilty of cheating and diving will be given a ban for one or two games.

Real Madrid are the first team to win the UCL trophy back to back after a 4-1 win over Juventus

By

He did what he always does. And Real Madrid did what they have done so often since this rather magnificent trophy was first awarded in 1956. Cristiano Ronaldo, at 32, is still demanding centre stage. He won an FA Cup final at this stadium in 2004 as a callow youth against Millwall. It was his first ever trophy. On Saturday night he secured his 20th. The opposition was somewhat more glamorous here, the prize more treasured but the performance remained the same. He did what he does, which is to lead from the front and ensure that, if silverware is at stake, he is the man left holding it at the end. But Real Madrid are the team who appropriated the old European Cup at its outset. Now they are dominating the modern era. This was their 12th trophy of all time. But never before in the modern era of the Champions League has the trophy been defended. It has now. Three wins in four years begins to look like a team of the calibre of Ajax, Bayern, Liverpool, AC Milan. Don't mention it on L...

Rohr:Vincent Enyeama may return to the super Eagles team.

By
Image
Lille OSC coach Marcelo Bielsa has decided to make a u-turn and recall Nigerian goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama back to the first team. The former Super Eagles skipper has been handed a lifeline by Bielsa following his return from a six month injury lay-off. Enyeama and 11 others were deemed surplus to requirements by Bielsa upon his appointment as coach of the French giants last summer, paving the way for them to leave the club. However, the 35-year old net minder couldn’t make a move as he was recuperating from the meniscus surgery he sustained towards the end of the previous campaign. Having fully recovered, the goalkeeper posted a video of himself back in training with the team for the first time in six months. Meanwhile the Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr has confirmed he has had positive talks on a return as the goalkeeper left the national team in controversial circumstances in 2016 ‎following a row with former coach Sunday Oliseh

PSG to sell Cavani next season because of Neymar quarrels.

By

Neymar is not comfortable. The Brazilian has not just found himself at home in Paris. His quarrels with Cavani have caused a bad atmosphere in the locker room, and his relationship with Emery is not the best.  Al-Khelaïfi is concerned about this. The sheikh of PSG does not want his star to be upset, and that is why he has given carte blanche to make any request.  'Ney' is clear: he wants Cavani out next season. To replace it, the ex of Barça has a name in the head: Karim Benzema.  The '10' has a good relationship with the Frenchman, and believes that he would be the perfect player to accompany him and Mbappé in attack.  Benzema has proved to be a striker who does not mind playing for others, and is that it takes years in the shadow of Cristiano Ronaldo without giving any problem. He is a striker who stands out by combining with his teammates and not being selfish facing the goal. That's what Neymar wants.  The PS...

Is it normal, this? I don't think.'. Conte thinks Chelsea rivals are favoured in the premier league

By
join us on Facebook  Antonio Conte has complained that the Premier League title race would be closer had fixtures been arranged more fairly. The Chelsea manager, who believes even another run of 13 wins in a row might not challenge Manchester City, is still irritated by the timing of his side's meeting against Pep Guardiola's team from September. Conte is also annoyed that Chelsea have one fewer day to rest than Liverpool for next weekend's fixture after both clubs play in the Champions League. Chelsea were superb in beating West Bromwich Albion 4-0 to record a fourth win in succession but they remain nine points behind leaders City. Conte believes that his team's 1-0 loss at Stamford Bridge, coming with a day's fewer rest than City, is proving pivotal. 'We played against Atletico Madrid away and we came back at five o'clock in the morning on Thursday and we played on Saturday against Manchester City. 'I think in the game one team was favo...

By
Image
The Dutch football association KNVB is to look into reports that Vitesse fans made monkey noises directed at Ajax keeper Andre Onana during their match last weekend. The investigation followed a video on YouTube in which the sounds can be heard clearly behind the Ajax goal, where hardened Vitesse fans were sitting. The part of the video with the noise has now been removed but the KNVB has the original recording, website Nu.nl said. ‘Racism has no place in the stadium and must be tackled,’ the KNVB said on Twitter on Tuesday. ‘The KNVB has approached Vitesse to take steps.’ Nu.nl said the KNVB will decide on the basis of the clubs and the referees reports whether to start a formal investigation. A spokesman for the Arnhem club told the Telegraaf that ‘unfortunately’ a small group of people had ‘audibly misbehaved’. ‘There is no room for this sort of behaviour in our stadium. We will try and identify the perpetrators via the video,...

By
Image
Gomes has endured a difficult first season at Barcelona since signing from Valencia in the summer. But despite his erratic displays, manager Luis Enrique continues to persist with him. His selection is said to be causing frictions in the dressing room with Messi particularly annoyed. And Spanish outlet DiarioGol claim the Argentina international has demanded Gomes be dropped with immediate effect. Messi and fellow forwards Neymar and Luis Suarez are said to be appalled at Enrique's faith in Gomes.
