James Rodriguez received a warm welcome from Bayern Munich fans in China as he arrives for the preseason tour.

The Colombian star shared this on his official twitter account and captioned it"Hi China🇨🇳Hello China

The Colombian captain is currently on a two years loan from Madrid with the option of Bayern Munich making the deal permanent with around £36 million.

He joined Madrid from Monaco after his 2014 world cup heroic display in Brazil.

Manchester United will trigger contract extension clauses on four first team stars that will stop them from holding talks with other clubs in January. According to reports, the Red Devils are ready to extend the deals of Juan Mata, Ander Herrera, Ashley Young and Daley Blind. All are out of contract at the end of the current season but Manchester United have the option to extend their deals by a further 12 months, tying them at the club until summer 2019. The call follows an earlier decision to make the same move with Luke Shaw. Making the decision before the turn of the year will stop the players from being able to talk with foreign clubs in January about a potential move, at least openly. Herrera in particular has become a concern with the Spaniard linked with a move to Atletico Madrid. Alonso said Roma is a very strong team and Chelsea will need to give 100 per cent in order to beat them. Record German champions Bayern München will take on Real Madrid in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, while Borussia Dortmund will battle AS Monaco for a place in the final four. The pairings were confirmed during the UCL draw at UEFA headquarters in Nyon at Friday lunchtime. FC Bayern will first host Toni Kroos & Co. in Munich on 11th or 12th April, before travelling to the Spanish capital on 18th or 19th April. BVB will also play at home first, with the second leg set to be held in Monaco.
