More than 3,000 people form the biggest Barcelona shirt

Barcelona, president, Josep Maria Bartomeu, participated in an event at Bryant Park in New York, between Fifth Avenue and 42nd Street, where a giant Blaugrana shirt was made with the help of supporters who had been waiting for hours to take part.

In addition to Bartomeu, Thierry Henry, Juliano Belletti and the president of the new shirt sponsors were also present.

According to the club, it was "around 12 o'clock when 3,330 participants, accredited by Guinness World Records, have raised the banners that shaped the biggest football shirt in history."

Before this event, Bartomeu had to take a flight to Barcelona to oversee signings that are about to materialise, and then met with New York Mayor Bill De Blasio, who was given a personalised home shirt, on Friday.

Chelsea coach Conte rubbish talk of him joining A.C Milan

Antonio Conte has brushed aside talk of a return to Italy after he led his Chelsea side to a 1-0 victory over Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday. Chelsea edged United in a tense game at Stamford Bridge to keep their hopes of defending their title alive. AS Roma coach Luciano Spalletti blasted Claudio Ranieri’s sacking as a “scandal” as the Italian press lambasted Premier League champions Leicester and the “ungrateful English”. The Gunners are into the last eight of the FA Cup after goals from Lucas Perez and Theo Walcott at Gander Green Lane Arsenal  avoided an  FA Cup  upset of giant proportions as they beat Sutton 2-0 to move into the quarter-finals. There was to be no fairytale story for Arsenal's non-league opponents as goals from Lucas Perez and Theo Walcott sealed the Gunners' progress after a torrid few days. The win won't repair the damage done by last week's humiliating loss to Bayern Munich, but an FA Cup semi-final spot is now firmly in their sights with another non-league outfit, Lincoln City, next up in the last eight.

Manchester City defender  Danilo  spoke to El Larguero, a Spanish radio programme, following the Premier League side’s penalty shoot-out victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Carabao Cup.
