Chelsea close to raping up deal for Real Madrid player

Chelsea are close to beating Juventus to the signature of Real Madrid right back Danilo, as  Chelsea manager Conte continue to strengthen his team for the up coming premier league title defense challenge.

And, according to The Mirror, the club are set to tear out another page of their chequebook with the capture of the £31million man before they head out to the Far East.

Conte has already missed out on signing Romelu Lukaku, who has headed to Manchester United in a £75m deal from Everton.

And the Italian wants to add Tiemoue Bakayoko to his ranks, with the Monaco midfielder’s transfer being held up by recent knee surgery.

But Conte also wants former Porto left-back Alex Sandro to join Chelsea, with the club unable to agree a fee with Juventus over the flying left-back.

Lille OSC coach Marcelo Bielsa has decided to make a u-turn and recall Nigerian goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama back to the first team. The former Super Eagles skipper has been handed a lifeline by Bielsa following his return from a six month injury lay-off. Enyeama and 11 others were deemed surplus to requirements by Bielsa upon his appointment as coach of the French giants last summer, paving the way for them to leave the club. However, the 35-year old net minder couldn’t make a move as he was recuperating from the meniscus surgery he sustained towards the end of the previous campaign. Having fully recovered, the goalkeeper posted a video of himself back in training with the team for the first time in six months. UCL Draw: Bayern takes on Madrid, as At.Madrid face Leicester City

Record German champions Bayern München will take on Real Madrid in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, while Borussia Dortmund will battle AS Monaco for a place in the final four. The pairings were confirmed during the UCL draw at UEFA headquarters in Nyon at Friday lunchtime. FC Bayern will first host Toni Kroos & Co. in Munich on 11th or 12th April, before travelling to the Spanish capital on 18th or 19th April. BVB will also play at home first, with the second leg set to be held in Monaco. Chelsea are set to bring an end to their current striking position problem, after Lukaku's failed deal and Morata coming to Stamford bridge a bit difficult. Bakayoko will undergo  medicals at Chelsea on Friday according to report. It is believed that Chelsea and Monaco have agreed a fee for the 22 year old defensive midfield who has been heavily linked to Chelsea. Get French Football News(gffn) wrote on their twitter account "Breaking | Chelsea & Monaco have finally completed a deal for Tiemoué Bakayoko for €45m. A medical will occur on Friday, according to RMC". If the deal is completed, Conte will be happy to beat Man Utd for his signature after Man Utd beat him to Lukaku's.
