Min while Kano pillars defeated Enugu Rangers 2-0 in another epic battle.

Nasarawa united were the only team to win away from home after their 0-1 win over sunshine stars in Akure.

Ronaldinho showed he still has his magical feet with his 3 assist in a match between Barcelona legends and Real Madrid legends. The match took place in Beirut and featured the likes of Gianluca Zambrotta, Francesco Coco, Eric Abidal and Edgar Davids for Barcelona.  Real Madrid were represented by Roberto Carlos, Fernando Morientes, Christian Karembeu and Savio, among others. Giuly scored twice for the Blaugrana and Simao also scored a goal, while Fernando Sanz and Javi Guerrero were on point for Real. Per Barcelona's official website, it marked the first time club ambassador Ronaldinho donned the famous shirt since leaving for AC Milan in 2008.

WWE boss Vince McMahon The wrestling legend had been backstage at the company’s flagship programme all day,  working on scenes for Fighting With My Family  – about WWE superstar Paige and her family. And – although not appearing during the live show – he walked out before Raw kicked off to film a few shots for the film. After a couple of minutes entertaining the crowd with his iconic catchphrases, McMahon’s entrance music hit and he came out to “fire” The Rock – real name Dwayne Johnson. Ten-man Real Madrid rescued a 3-3 draw at home to Las Palmas on Wednesday thanks to a late double from Cristiano Ronaldo. Goals from Tana, Jonathan Viera and Kevin-Prince Boateng overturned an early opener from Isco and looked set to give the visitors a shock three points, especially after Gareth Bale's red card early in the second half. But Ronaldo struck twice in three minutes in the closing stages to salvage a point for Zinedine Zidane's side that could yet prove important in the LaLiga title race, though it was not enough to take them back above Barcelona, who earlier thrashed Sporting Gijon 6-1.

They did suffer a setback when Laurent Koscielny was sent off for a late lunge on Enner Valencia in the 14th minute, ruling him out of the FA Cup final, but doubled their lead through Alexis Sanchez in the 27th minute. Jamie Vardy scored twice as Leicester City climbed out of the relegation zone. Leicester striker Vardy struck in each half as the fallen champions finally decided to turn up with a much-needed performance just four days after Claudio Ranieri had been sacked. Danny Drinkwater also scored a spectacular first half effort as Leicester overwhelmed Liverpool as the King Power Stadium came alive again. Leicester fans chanted Ranieri’s name, held banners and even organised a march through the city centre while the players forgot all about him to produce a victory reminiscent of last season’s title success. Philippe Coutinho grabbed a late consolation for Liverpool but it was Leicester’s night with only their second win of 2017.

There has been a tense atmosphere in the Barcelona dressing room over the last few days, after a training ground bust up between Juan Carlos Unzue and Neymar in which the assistant coach compared the Brazilian's attitude to that of his contemporary, Ronaldinho. The incident apparently occurred after Unzue reproached the player for the way in which he was applying himself in training. "If you continue this way, you'll end up just like Ronaldinho," he said to Neymar, a comment that was clearly not to the liking of a player who can count the former Barcelona No.10 amongst his close friends. Incredibly angry for the rest of the session, the comment, which was probably meant to try and motivate Neymar, looked to have had the opposite effect.
