Barcelona eyeing Antoine Griezmann

Barcelona have been tracking Antoine Griezmann. The French Atletico Madrid strike has a 100 million euro release clause and Barcelona think it's a reasonable price for a forward who has shown in recent years he can be decisive. In the summer Barcelona were interested in him to replace Neymar but the forward's buy-out clause was 200m, raised to that figure while Atletico were under the FIFA transfer ban.
The former Real Sociedad striker is not enjoying himself at Atletico. He has scored just three times in La Liga and the Champions League. It seems like he has his mind on another club. Barcelona may decide to strike for him and add him to the forward line with Messi, Suarez and Ousmane Dembele.

Barcelona have reportedly taken a significant step toward acquiring the signature of Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann after it emerged they've reached a "principle of agreement" with their target. Barcelona liked playing Arsenal in the UCL because they dominate them

Dani Alves says Barcelona always liked playing against Arsenal in the Champions League as they were able to "dominate" them. The Catalan club eliminated Arsenal from the Champions League in the 2009/10, 2010/11 and 2015/16 seasons. Alves believes the two clubs' shared philosophy allowed Barcelona to control games against the Gunners, particularly at the Camp Nou, where they scored ten goals in three games. "We definitely liked to face Arsenal," Alves told  Four Four Two . "They had a similar football style to ours and this sometimes helped to facilitate our way of playing. "They were a team we dominated and had a control over. Every time we faced Arsenal, we'd have a good result or good performance." The Gunners are into the last eight of the FA Cup after goals from Lucas Perez and Theo Walcott at Gander Green Lane Arsenal  avoided an  FA Cup  upset of giant proportions as they beat Sutton 2-0 to move into the quarter-finals. There was to be no fairytale story for Arsenal's non-league opponents as goals from Lucas Perez and Theo Walcott sealed the Gunners' progress after a torrid few days. The win won't repair the damage done by last week's humiliating loss to Bayern Munich, but an FA Cup semi-final spot is now firmly in their sights with another non-league outfit, Lincoln City, next up in the last eight.

Sergio Ramos claims he will be 'back in no time' after the Real Madrid defender broke his nose in their derby draw with Atletico Madrid on Saturday. Zinedine Zidane's side had to play the whole of the second half without their captain as he was taken off at half-time after breaking his nose in a collision with Atletico's Lucas Hernandez. Following the goalless draw at the Wanda Metropolitano, Ramos took to Instagram to post some graphic and bloody photos of his nose, as well as showing his devotion to the club. The Spanish international wrote: 'I would bleed a thousand times for this badge and this shirt. Thanks for your support. I'll be back in no time #HalaMadrid'. It was another disappointing day at the office for both Madrid clubs on Saturday as the result has left them even further off the pace at the top of the La Liga table.

Morata: I regretted leaving Juventus for Real Madrid

Juventus signed Morata from Madrid in 2014 but the Spanish champions exercised a clause to re-sign him in 2016.  However, after just one year back at Madrid, Morata joined Chelsea in the summer.  "There were contractual agreements to respect," the striker told  La Gazzetta dello Sport of his return to Spain.  "The disappointment was huge: I went right back to the start. They treated me like the kid I was before the two seasons in Italy. "I arrived [in Italy] feeling like a boy and I returned feeling like a true player. I should never have left Italy and Juve.  "I really miss Italy. My wife would like to live in Spain; I'd like to live in Italy." The match took place in Beirut and featured the likes of Gianluca Zambrotta, Francesco Coco, Eric Abidal and Edgar Davids for Barcelona.  Real Madrid were represented by Roberto Carlos, Fernando Morientes, Christian Karembeu and Savio, among others.
