Barcelona eyeing Antoine Griezmann

Barcelona have been tracking Antoine Griezmann. The French Atletico Madrid strike has a 100 million euro release clause and Barcelona think it's a reasonable price for a forward who has shown in recent years he can be decisive. In the summer Barcelona were interested in him to replace Neymar but the forward's buy-out clause was 200m, raised to that figure while Atletico were under the FIFA transfer ban.
The former Real Sociedad striker is not enjoying himself at Atletico. He has scored just three times in La Liga and the Champions League. It seems like he has his mind on another club. Barcelona may decide to strike for him and add him to the forward line with Messi, Suarez and Ousmane Dembele.

Barcelona have taken a big step in signing Griezmann according to reports

Barcelona have reportedly taken a significant step toward acquiring the signature of Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann after it emerged they've reached a "principle of agreement" with their target. French newspaper Le10Sport (h/t Calciomercato.com) reported Griezmann has given the green light to a move to the Camp Nou and could be well on the path to joining the Blaugrana next summer. The same article explained how Griezmann pulled the plug on a switch to Manchester United last summer due to Atletico's transfer ban, and he then extended his contract to raise his release clause to €200 million (£178 million). James Rodriguez officially joins Bayern Munich

Ba yern Munich have announced the signing of Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez. The Colombian captain was heavily linked with a move away from the Bernabeu after struggling for game-time last season, with Chelsea and Manchester United reported to have shown interest. But Bundesliga winners Bayern Munich will be his next employers, the club have confirmed on their official website. Rodriguez joins the Bavarian giants on a two-year loan deal, with the option to make the switch permanent for €32.5 million euros in 2019. The 25-year old will soon put pen to paper on his contract and undergo at medical at Bayern, where he will once again link up with Carlo Ancelotti. The Italian signed Rodriguez for Real Madrid in 2014 for around €80 million euros. Barcelona , president, Josep Maria Bartomeu, participated in an event at Bryant Park in New York, between Fifth Avenue and 42nd Street, where a giant Blaugrana shirt was made with the help of supporters who had been waiting for hours to take part. In addition to Bartomeu, Thierry Henry, Juliano Belletti and the president of the new shirt sponsors were also present. According to the club, it was "around 12 o'clock when 3,330 participants, accredited by Guinness World Records, have raised the banners that shaped the biggest football shirt in history." An Indonesian tsunami survivor and Cristiano Ronaldo protege has been forced to take a break from his football career over a knee injury, he told AFP on Tuesday.  nineteen -year-old Martunis, sometimes described as Ronaldo's "adopted son", said he was quitting Java-based PS TNI to return to his home province of Aceh. Martunis, then aged seven, was found alone and wearing a Portugal shirt on a beach days after the quake-triggered 2004 tsunami ravaged Aceh.
