Peru striker banned by FIFA for failing Drug test

PERU striker Paolo Guerrero is out of this countries vital World Cup play-off with New Zealand, after failing a drug test.
The Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) confirmed the news after their captain was selected for a random drugs test following the goalless draw with Argentina last month.

Accoring to Globoesporte the 33-year-old's sample had traces of Benzoylecglonine, the main component of cocaine.
However, sorces close to the player have denied he would take drugs.
Guerrero has been hit with an initial 30 day suspension by Fifa and will miss the double-header with the Kiwis in the upcoming international break.
The Flamengo forward will also miss the Copa Sudamericana semi-final against Columbian side Junior Baranquilla.
Guerrero who is the Peruvian all-time leading marksman with 33 goals has seven days to respond.

Chelsea finally made Antonio Rudiger's move to the club official Sunday as the former AS Roma defender signed a five-year contract with the Blues. The club announced the news via its official website. Al Ahly and Wydad settle for a 1-1 draw in the first leg of CAF Champions league final

Al Ahly of Egypt were unable to build on a great start and had to settle for a 1-1 first-leg draw with Wydad Casablanca of Morocco Saturday in the CAF Champions League final. Moamen Zakaria scored after just three minutes for the record eight-time African champions at the Borg El Arab Stadium in Mediterranean city Alexandria. But leading Wydad scorer Achraf Bencharki levelled on 16 minutes and dominant Ahly were unable to regain the lead before a crowd restricted to 50,000 for safety reasons.  Wydad host the return match next Saturday and are favoured to pocket the record $2.5 million (2.1 million euros) first prize given their home form in Africa this season. More than 3,000 people form the biggest Barcelona shirt

Barcelona , president, Josep Maria Bartomeu, participated in an event at Bryant Park in New York, between Fifth Avenue and 42nd Street, where a giant Blaugrana shirt was made with the help of supporters who had been waiting for hours to take part. In addition to Bartomeu, Thierry Henry, Juliano Belletti and the president of the new shirt sponsors were also present. According to the club, it was "around 12 o'clock when 3,330 participants, accredited by Guinness World Records, have raised the banners that shaped the biggest football shirt in history."
