Official: Dani Alves rejects Man city and joins PSG

Dani Alves terminated his contract with juventus last month, and it was reported last week he was close to joining Man City to reunite with formal manager Pep Guardiola.

Goal claimed that the three time Champions League winning defender was to sign a two-year deal at the Etihad Stadium worth £8.6 million, equating to roughly £85,000-per-week.

However Alves has had a change of heart and instead has signed for Paris Saint-Germain, where he is expected to earn more than double what City were offering him.

The former Barcelona right-back has taken on the No.32 shirt at PSG, and has penned a two-year deal with the Ligue One side and will earn roughly £240,000 a week.
