Angry Messi tells Barca to Drop Andre Gomes

Gomes has endured a difficult first season at Barcelona since signing from Valencia in the summer.

But despite his erratic displays, manager Luis Enrique continues to persist with him.

His selection is said to be causing frictions in the dressing room with Messi particularly annoyed.

And Spanish outlet DiarioGol claim the Argentina international has demanded Gomes be dropped with immediate effect.

Messi and fellow forwards Neymar and Luis Suarez are said to be appalled at Enrique's faith in Gomes.

They believe their failure to hit top form is down to the 23-year-old lacklustre displays in the middle of the park.
The midfielder's inclusion has come at a price with Ivan Rakitic forced to settle for a place on the bench.

And Rakitic is now being Linked with a move to Real Madrid having grown tired of life out in the cold.

Barcelona have taken a big step in signing Griezmann according to reports

Barcelona have reportedly taken a significant step toward acquiring the signature of Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann after it emerged they've reached a "principle of agreement" with their target. French newspaper Le10Sport (h/t Calciomercato.com) reported Griezmann has given the green light to a move to the Camp Nou and could be well on the path to joining the Blaugrana next summer. Chelsea to bid €80 million for Morata

Chelsea are reportedly set to turn to Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata with an offer in the region of €80 million (£70.9 million) after missing out on Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United. According to Javier Silles of AS, Chelsea are now Morata's best chance of getting a move this summer after he appeared to be close to joining United prior to their capture of Lukaku. Dani Alves terminated his contract with juventus last month, and it was reported last week he was close to joining Man City to reunite with formal manager Pep Guardiola .
