MMA-Vitor Belfort is ‘sad’ to see MMA become a sport where fighters run from tough fights
It hasn’t been the best couple of years for Vitor Belfort, who is currently on a two fight skid after suffering back-to-back defeats to Gegard Mousasi and Ronaldo Souza, losing three of four overall since 2015. But don’t you dare tell “The Phenom” that he’s in a rut, as he says losing against some of the best mixed martial arts (MMA) has to offer is nothing to be ashamed of and doesn’t signify a decline. "Who said it’s complicated? I fought the two best fighters in the division, so it’s actually not complicated, it’s an opportunity for me to rewrite my story,” Belfort told MMA Fighting .
