What Conte told Chelsea players at halftime against Bournemouth

Chelsea came through their Premier League encounter with Bournemouth 1-0 on Saturday to avoid slipping further behind in the title race.

The Blues dominated the encounter on the South Coast, however they only managed to score the one goal.

Eden Hazard scored that goal just after half time following a fine assist from Alvaro Morata.

Speaking after the match, Cesar Azpilicueta revealed what Chelsea manager Antonio Conte said to the players at half-time.

‘Keep going. Keep the intensity we were having,’ he said. ‘Basically we were playing well and recovered the ball high. We were dangerous going forward on many occasions but we lacked the goal. We know in England if you don’t score it is harder and harder.

The Italian told BT Sport: ‘After half time was to continue to play our football. In first half we were unlucky to finish the half 0-0. But in the second half we started well and scored and created more chances.’

Antonio Conte confirmed that was the message.

PERU striker Paolo Guerrero is out of this countries vital World Cup play-off with New Zealand, after failing a drug test. The Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) confirmed the news after their captain was selected for a random drugs test following the goalless draw with Argentina last month. Peru striker Paolo Guerrero set for long ban after failing drug test Accoring to Globoesporte the 33-year-old's sample had traces of Benzoylecglonine, the main component of cocaine. However, sorces close to the player have denied he would take drugs. Guerrero has been hit with an initial 30 day suspension by Fifa and will miss the double-header with the Kiwis in the upcoming international break. The Flamengo forward will also miss the Copa Sudamericana semi-final against Columbian side Junior Baranquilla. Sergio Ramos claims he will be 'back in no time' after the Real Madrid defender broke his nose in their derby draw with Atletico Madrid on Saturday. Zinedine Zidane's side had to play the whole of the second half without their captain as he was taken off at half-time after breaking his nose in a collision with Atletico's Lucas Hernandez. Following the goalless draw at the Wanda Metropolitano, Ramos took to Instagram to post some graphic and bloody photos of his nose, as well as showing his devotion to the club. Barcelona have taken a big step in signing Griezmann according to reports

Barcelona have reportedly taken a significant step toward acquiring the signature of Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann after it emerged they've reached a "principle of agreement" with their target. French newspaper Le10Sport (h/t Calciomercato.com) reported Griezmann has given the green light to a move to the Camp Nou and could be well on the path to joining the Blaugrana next summer. Mourinho worried about the possibility of Fellaini leaving Manchester united

Jose Mourinho, the Manchester United manager, has admitted he is worried Marouane Fellaini will leave the club. Fellaini is out of contract at the end of the season and talks over a new deal remain at an impasse. The Belgium international midfielder rejected a new contract offer in September, and while United remain hopeful of persuading the player to stay, he will be free to talk to foreign suitors in January and Mourinho fears he could be tempted to go next summer. Antonio Conte has brushed aside talk of a return to Italy after he led his Chelsea side to a 1-0 victory over Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday. He has missed three games after that, and looks all set to be on the sidelines for at least a week more. An 'angry' Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly rejected a new contract at Real Madrid and demanded a transfer away from the Spanish giants at the end of the season.
