Barcelona Duo: Andre Gomes and Sergi Roberto out for the whole of November due to injury

at both Andre Gomes and Sergi Roberto will be missing, through injury, for the whole of November.

Roberto suffered a fibrillar tear in the right thigh hamstring and will be out for around five weeks.

For his part, Gomes, who did not start at Olympiacos, suffered a lesion in the right femoral biceps hamstring, and is expected to miss between three and four weeks.

An 'angry' Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly rejected a new contract at Real Madrid and demanded a transfer away from the Spanish giants at the end of the season. Ronaldo, who has previously made it clear he didn't want to extend his current deal which runs out in 2021, was believed to have wanted to quit the club last summer. The Portuguese superstar opted to remain at the Bernabeu but reports in Spain on Tuesday have now suggested he doesn't want to play for the club beyond this term. Spanish journalist Edu Aguirre, who works for TV station El Chiringuito, claimed Ronaldo has told Real Madrid president Florentino Perez of his decision. Jamie Vardy scored twice as Leicester City climbed out of the relegation zone. Leicester striker Vardy struck in each half as the fallen champions finally decided to turn up with a much-needed performance just four days after Claudio Ranieri had been sacked. Danny Drinkwater also scored a spectacular first half effort as Leicester overwhelmed Liverpool as the King Power Stadium came alive again. Leicester fans chanted Ranieri’s name, held banners and even organised a march through the city centre while the players forgot all about him to produce a victory reminiscent of last season’s title success. Xabi Alonso got a standing ovation from Bayern Munich's fans when he was replaced by Frank Ribery in 82 minutes of the game. What a legend he is, and will be missed by football lovers for his ability to deliver long  range passes accurately. Real Madrid are closing in on the signature of striker Vinicius Jr and the 16-year-old even took a medical examination for the club on Monday. The tests were planned by Vinicius' current side Flamengo, although the results were also sent on to Los Blancos as per their request. Globoesporte say that the player went to Samaritano Hospital in Barra da Tijuca, near Rio de Janeiro, for the medical, with the LaLiga giants reported by MARCA to be now on the verge of completing a deal.
