Dani Carvajal  returned to training on Monday morning at Real Madrid's Valdebabas facility. One month after he was diagnosed with a heart infection , the 25-year-old took to the turf along with fitness coach Javi Mayo.  On 25 October,  Zinedine Zidane delivered the positive news that Carvajal has recovered from the virus that ruled him out since late September, and that he had returned to light training. "Things are going well with Dani. It's all positive. Today he started on the bike and it takes time.  I am happy because he is healthy, but there is a recovery process  and he started a little yesterday. Today a bit more and we will see how it evolves," said the French coach. The medical staff at Real Madrid  will not rush Carvajal back to serious physical exertion , as there is a risk that the infection could return. As a result, his work-load will increase incrementally until he is ready to re-join the squad. 

Juventus signed Morata from Madrid in 2014 but the Spanish champions exercised a clause to re-sign him in 2016.  However, after just one year back at Madrid, Morata joined Chelsea in the summer.  "There were contractual agreements to respect," the striker told  La Gazzetta dello Sport of his return to Spain.  "The disappointment was huge: I went right back to the start. Chelsea came through their Premier League encounter with Bournemouth 1-0 on Saturday to avoid slipping further behind in the title race. Barcelona are desperate to sign the Brazilian playmaker and are expected to return with a huge offer having failed to land him over the summer. Liverpool have told Jurgen Klopp he will be handed the entire windfall to spend on new recruits if Philippe Coutinho is sold for £130million in January. Alonso said Roma is a very strong team and Chelsea will need to give 100 per cent in order to beat them.
