After appearing to be first choice, the former Real Madrid goalkeeper has found himself frozen out for their three most recent matches.

"The players know what my rules are, the way I coach and how I demand that they always give 100 percent in training," Conceico told reporters.

"He talked to me and wanted to know why he isn't in the team and I explained that it was due to his training. I have to be consistent in dealing with my dressing room.

"Whether it is Joaquim, Manuel or Antonio. If I make exceptions, I'll lose the whole squad but I can't do that and close my eyes to 15 days of training like that from Iker and he understands that."

Despite newspaper reports in recent days hinting that the Spaniard could soon be moved on as a result of the situation, Conceicao laughed off those claims.

"He has shown good behaviour and is now working on improving. I'm certain he'll fight [for his place]," he added.

Casillas hasn't played since a scoreless draw with Sporting CP at the start of October.

Video Assistant Referee(VAR) to be used in Spain

According to Marca, The Spanish FA have been given the green light to begin using VAR - Video Assistant Referee - and the technology could make its debut in the second leg of Atletico Madrid and Elche's Copa del Rey tie at the end of November. VAR is already in use in some European leagues, but there has been a mixed reaction to it, particularly in Germany   and Italy. As such, any initial use of it in Spain will be for testing and it will not be rolled out across the country straight away. Jamie Vardy scored twice as Leicester City climbed out of the relegation zone. Leicester striker Vardy struck in each half as the fallen champions finally decided to turn up with a much-needed performance just four days after Claudio Ranieri had been sacked. Danny Drinkwater also scored a spectacular first half effort as Leicester overwhelmed Liverpool as the King Power Stadium came alive again. Leicester fans chanted Ranieri’s name, held banners and even organised a march through the city centre while the players forgot all about him to produce a victory reminiscent of last season’s title success.
