Isco involved in more goals than any other midfielder

Spanish and Real Madrid midfielder Isco Alarcon has been involved in more goals than any other midfielder in the the Spanish league this 2017.

The inform Real Madrid attacking midfielder has scored a total of 10 goals this year and has also provided for his teammates to score 8 times.

Isco assisted Asenso for Real Madrid's 2nd goal against Eiber on Sunday night, he also scored the only goal between Real Madrid and Espanol on the 1st of this month.

Video Assistant Referee(VAR) to be used in Spain

According to Marca, The Spanish FA have been given the green light to begin using VAR - Video Assistant Referee - and the technology could make its debut in the second leg of Atletico Madrid and Elche's Copa del Rey tie at the end of November. VAR is already in use in some European leagues, but there has been a mixed reaction to it, particularly in Germany   and Italy. As such, any initial use of it in Spain will be for testing and it will not be rolled out across the country straight away. This, though, is a start and a big step, one which seemed unlikely to come to fruition until Angel Maria Villar had to step aside as Spanish FA president. click here for more

There has been a tense atmosphere in the Barcelona dressing room over the last few days, after a training ground bust up between Juan Carlos Unzue and Neymar in which the assistant coach compared the Brazilian's attitude to that of his contemporary, Ronaldinho. The incident apparently occurred after Unzue reproached the player for the way in which he was applying himself in training.
