Morata: I regretted leaving Juventus for Real Madrid

Juventus signed Morata from Madrid in 2014 but the Spanish champions exercised a clause to re-sign him in 2016. 

However, after just one year back at Madrid, Morata joined Chelsea in the summer. 

"There were contractual agreements to respect," the striker told  La Gazzetta dello Sport of his return to Spain. 

"The disappointment was huge: I went right back to the start. They treated me like the kid I was before the two seasons in Italy.

"I arrived [in Italy] feeling like a boy and I returned feeling like a true player. I should never have left Italy and Juve. 

"I really miss Italy. My wife would like to live in Spain; I'd like to live in Italy."

Morata is back in Italy this week with Chelsea, who face Roma in the Champions League.

Alonso optimistic Chelsea will beat Roma after weekend disappointing loss to Crystal Palace

Alonso said Roma is a very strong team and Chelsea will need to give 100 per cent in order to beat them. According to the defender,  after the disappointing  loss at Palace, the only way forward is to work hard and win our next game. He believes tomorrow provides them with another chance to put in a good performance, as they did in Madrid. Alonso also said the team has been working well in training and he hopes they will perform a lot better than at the weekend. Will your money be on Chelsea or Roma tomorrow.

Dutch FA to speak to Vitesse about racist chanting

The Dutch football association KNVB is to look into reports that Vitesse fans made monkey noises directed at Ajax keeper Andre Onana during their match last weekend. The investigation followed a video on YouTube in which the sounds can be heard clearly behind the Ajax goal, where hardened Vitesse fans were sitting. The part of the video with the noise has now been removed but the KNVB has the original recording, website Nu.nl said. ‘Racism has no place in the stadium and must be tackled,’ the KNVB said on Twitter on Tuesday. ‘The KNVB has approached Vitesse to take steps.’ Nu.nl said the KNVB will decide on the basis of the clubs and the referees reports whether to start a formal investigation. Ernesto Valverde  will a few problems to keep him occupied this week.  Gerard Piqué who went into this yesterday's meeting with  Leganés  on four yellow cards, picked up a fifth booking on 29 minutes for which means he will now miss next week's away trip to Valencia. Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde has identified Brazilian midfielder Paulinho as a man that fits the style of football he wants to play in his first season in charge of Barcelona. First Barcelona offer for Paulinho was rejected by his club Guangzhou, as they saw it as an inappropriate way to bid for a player. Head Coach of the Iranian u17 side has accused Mali if age cheating at the ongoing U17 world cup in India. Iran were last Tuesday trashed 5-1 by Mali during the round of 16 match between both sides. Hadji Drame, Lassana N’Diaye, Fode Konate and Seme Camara were on the score sheet in the match dominated by Mali. Official: Dani Alves rejects Man city and joins PSG

Dani Alves terminated his contract with juventus last month, and it was reported last week he was close to joining Man City to reunite with formal manager Pep Guardiola . Goal claimed that the three time Champions League winning defender was to sign a two-year deal at the Etihad Stadium worth £8.6 million, equating to roughly £85,000-per-week. However Alves has had a change of heart and instead has signed for Paris Saint-Germain, where he is expected to earn more than double what City were offering him.
