Ronaldo's first LaLiga goal gives Madrid maximum point against Getafe

Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema fired Real Madrid to La Liga history with a 2-1 victory over Getafe.
The Blancos have not been at their best this season, with a slow start made to the defence of their domestic crown.
Rather surprisingly, their struggles so far have come on home soil, as Valencia and Levante have left the Santiago Bernabeu with a draw and a win, respectively. 
Zinedine Zidane’s side have been in imperious form on the road, though, with 13 successive victories wrapped up on their travels.
Real required another moment of Ronaldo inspiration to see them to a record-setting success on Saturday.
Benzema fired them in front against Getafe, but Jorge Molina restored parity and threatened to offer further frustration for the capital giants.
Ronaldo, though, scored in the 85th minute to snatch all three points.
That effort was the Portuguese forward’s first in La Liga this season, and could not have come at a better time.
Real have now won seven successive games in all competitions, with positive progress being made once again at home and abroad as they seek to replicate their Liga and Champions League double-winning efforts from 2016-17.

Alonso optimistic Chelsea will beat Roma after weekend disappointing loss to Crystal Palace

Alonso said Roma is a very strong team and Chelsea will need to give 100 per cent in order to beat them. According to the defender,  after the disappointing  loss at Palace, the only way forward is to work hard and win our next game. He believes tomorrow provides them with another chance to put in a good performance, as they did in Madrid. Dutch FA to speak to Vitesse about racist chanting

The Dutch football association KNVB is to look into reports that Vitesse fans made monkey noises directed at Ajax keeper Andre Onana during their match last weekend. The investigation followed a video on YouTube in which the sounds can be heard clearly behind the Ajax goal, where hardened Vitesse fans were sitting. The part of the video with the noise has now been removed but the KNVB has the original recording, website Nu.nl said. ‘Racism has no place in the stadium and must be tackled,’ the KNVB said on Twitter on Tuesday. ‘The KNVB has approached Vitesse to take steps.’ Nu.nl said the KNVB will decide on the basis of the clubs and the referees reports whether to start a formal investigation. Ernesto Valverde  will a few problems to keep him occupied this week.  Gerard Piqué who went into this yesterday's meeting with  Leganés  on four yellow cards, picked up a fifth booking on 29 minutes for which means he will now miss next week's away trip to Valencia. Head Coach of the Iranian u17 side has accused Mali if age cheating at the ongoing U17 world cup in India. Iran were last Tuesday trashed 5-1 by Mali during the round of 16 match between both sides. Official: Dani Alves rejects Man city and joins PSG

Dani Alves terminated his contract with juventus last month, and it was reported last week he was close to joining Man City to reunite with formal manager Pep Guardiola . Goal claimed that the three time Champions League winning defender was to sign a two-year deal at the Etihad Stadium worth £8.6 million, equating to roughly £85,000-per-week. However Alves has had a change of heart and instead has signed for Paris Saint-Germain, where he is expected to earn more than double what City were offering him. The former Barcelona right-back has taken on the No.32 shirt at PSG, and has penned a two-year deal with the Ligue One side and will earn roughly £240,000 a week.
